Child killed as truck hits motorcycle in Cebu

CEBU CITY – A one-year-old child was killed after a truck ran over her in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City, Cebu on Monday afternoon, March 2.
The incident, which was caught on security camera, happened while the girl and her mother were aboard a motorcycle driven by Lelan Remejio, 51.
The child, Bell Croba Racal, was seated between her 45-year-old mother Jocelyn and Remejio.
In the video, a truck was seen parked on the side of the road.
Remejio was seen driving beside the truck which slowly moved forward. The truck sideswiped the motorcycle.
Due to the impact, the child was thrown off the motorcycle and the truck ran over her.
Truck driver Rolando Tapdasan, 52, is in police custody.
