Authorities are now hunting down a still unidentified suspect who stole around 50 wristwatches, all of which were pieces of evidence kept at the Municipal Trial Court in Cainta, Rizal, on Sunday, March 1.
One of the court staff reported the incident on Monday, March 2.
According to the Cainta Municipal Police Station (Cainta MPS), the robbery occurred inside the court premises after the suspect allegedly gained entry through an unlocked window on the second floor of the building at the Cainta Municipal Compound in Barangay Sto. Domingo.
Based on the initial inventory, aside from the wristwatches, the suspect also took an Acer laptop belonging to the court, cash amounting to P653, a charm, and a coin purse.
A follow-up operation is ongoing to apprehend the suspect.
