Police arrested two men listed as most wanted persons in separate manhunt operations in Taguig City on March 2.
Personnel from Taguig police's Sub-station 12 apprehended alias Resty, 35, who was tagged as the No. 9 most wanted person (station level) for March in Barangay Bagumbayan.
The accused was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest for possession of dangerous drugs under Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The warrant of arrest was issued on Sept. 11 last year by Presiding Judge Marivic Cudilla Vitor of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 266, with a recommended bail of P200,000.
In a separate operation, personnel from the city police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section arrested alias Deane, 22, listed as Taguig No. 1 most wanted person (station level) for March.
He was collared on Fernandez Street in Barangay Central Bicutan based on a warrant of arrest for a rape case issued last Feb. 3 by Judge Vitor. No bail was recommended.
The two accused were brought to the Taguig City Health Office for physical and medical examinations.
