DHSUD: Over 30,000 families to benefit from condo-type mass housing in Bulacan
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has started distributing units for a condo-type mass housing project in Bulacan which is expected to benefit around 30,000 families.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said at least 1,000 beneficiaries initially received certificates and symbolic keys for their respective units at the condominium-type development strategically located in Barangay Catmon in Sta. Maria town.
“This is another proof of the government’s commitment to provide affordable but decent housing to all our kababayan,’ said Aliling who graced the ceremony at the Sta. Maria Highlands.
The project is composed of 33 multi-storey buildings designed to generate a total of 11,016 condominium-type housing units once completed, and equipped with modern common facilities and open spaces.
Aliling said the Sta. Maria Highlands Project is currently undergoing various stages of construction.
During the event, Aliling also inspected the completed 14-storey building and subsequently unveiled the project's marker.
