Bacolod checks quake damage

BACOLOD CITY – Mayor Greg Gasataya has ordered a Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) following a magnitude-five earthquake on Monday, March 2.
He advised people to remain calm, stay vigilant for possible aftershocks, and await updates from official city government channels.
The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) here has shifted to online classes on Tuesday, March 2, for the safety of students and faculty and conduct of inspection.
No damage from the tremor here was reported as of posting time.
This highly-urbanized city felt the earthquake at Intensity II.
Epicenter was Tigbauan, Iloilo.
