Rosé of girl group BLACKPINK became the first K-pop artist to win at the BRIT Awards
She attended the BRIT Awards 2026 ceremony held on Feb. 28 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
At the ceremony, “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars won the International Song of the Year.
“Oh my gosh! It is such an honor to be receiving this award in front of so many talented and you know admirable musicians here in the UK. So thank you so much. There are so many people I want to thank,” said Rosé as she received the award.
She added, “First off, Bruno, I'm receiving this award on behalf of the both of us. Thank you so much for everything, for being my biggest mentor and best friend. Love you so much. So many people to thank.”
“I'd love to thank my Atlantic family for believing in me always. I love you guys so much. And I would like to give a shout out to BLACKPINK. Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, I love you guys so much. Thank you for always inspiring me. I love you guys so much. Teddy oppa. I love you so much. and yeah, thank you so much. This means so much,” said Rosé.
At the 68th Grammy Awards, “APT.” was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
“APT.” won Song of the Year at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
At the BRIT Awards, Olivia Dean won Artist of the Year and Wolf Alice bagged Group of the Year.
