Two steal P75K worth of cigarettes from store in Rizal

Cigarette products amounting to P75,000 were stolen by two men from a store in Barangay Manggahan, Rodriguez, Rizal, on Friday, Feb. 27, the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station reported.
According to the police, the store owner found that the lock of her store along Milex Road was forcefully opened and multiple valuables were missing, including the cash on site and P75,000 worth of cigarettes.
The victim immediately checked the store's CCTV footage in which the two suspects were seen breaking into the store and stealing the money and items.
A follow-up operation was quickly launched by the police which resulted in the arrest of the suspects identified as "Mark" and "Lee." The police recovered some of the cigarettes amounting to P22,500.
The two were detained at the Rodriguez Municipal Police custodial facility and will be charged with robbery.
