The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) clarified on Saturday, Feb. 28, that there was no attempt from the new management of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to remove the airport police.
MIAA general manager Eric Ines said New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC), will use the space that the police currently occupy inside the NAIA Terminals.
"It is not the police, but it is the airport police offices that are being pulled out for the management use," said Ines.
Ines said that by April 1 this year, the Airport Police will no longer have offices at the NAIA.
