BACOLOD CITY – The provincial government of Negros Occidental extended P120,000 financial assistance to the family of the three siblings who were brutally attacked in their house in Silay City early this month.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson personally turned over a check to Ronelyn, the mother of the victims.
Ronelyn, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was repatriated from Saudi Arabia, thanked Lacson for the support and hoped that her children will soon receive justice.
The provincial government strongly condemned the incident that killed a nine-year-old girl and left her two siblings – a 14-year-old sister and a four-year-old brother – seriously injured.
A P100,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
