Meralco to hold wire-clearing operation in Pasay

The Pasay City government announced that the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) will conduct a wire-clearing and cable-cutting operation along Metrobank Avenue in Barangay 76 from 9:00 a.m. on March 2 to 6.
According to the advisory, the activity aims to remove old and unused utility poles and facilitate the transition to underground cabling in the area.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve public safety, reduce visual clutter, and enhance the community’s overall infrastructure.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano and the city government expressed support for the urban development program, reinforcing their commitment to creating a safer, more organized, and modernized environment for residents and businesses.
Motorists and residents are advised to expect possible temporary traffic disruptions during the scheduled operations.
