Marian Rivera commends celebrity and P‑Pop dance stars for embracing the challenge

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera emphasized that joining Stars On The Floor means taking on the challenge.
At a recent media interview at GMA Network, she expressed admiration for the Celebrity and P‑Pop Dance Stars who are already dazzling audiences in Season 2.

Hosted by Asia’s Multimedia Star and Box‑Office King Alden Richards, Stars On The Floor Season 2 launches “Collabo-labong Labanan”—a format that pairs celebrity performers with P‑Pop idols in high‑stakes collaboration battles that test both artistry and adaptability. Judging the competition are The Dance Authority — led by Marian, who serves as Head of the Dance Authority, alongside Dance Trendmaster Coach Jay, and Kapuso King of the Dancefloor Rayver Cruz.
More than just a judge, Marian has also embraced her role as a mentor, emphasizing both technical precision and the joy of performance.

“Their dedication here is truly commendable,” Marian said. “You can see them going to rehearsals, memorizing the steps, arriving early at the studio for run‑throughs and practicing again. I really have deep respect for them—even in the smallest ways. We salute everyone joining Stars On The Floor. They truly embrace the challenge of dancing.”
This season’s second episode delivered a major reveal: the mystery celebrity dancer was none other than multi‑awarded actress Jasmine Curtis‑Smith. She now joins fellow celebrity dance stars, namely Rocco Nacino, Paul Salas, Sugar Mercado, and Chanty Videla.

Stars On The Floor Season 2 expands the excitement online with its Digital Show, SOTF Dance Break, streaming every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5:10 PM on Kapuso Stream. The digital series features exclusive behind-the-scenes preparations of the Dance Stars as they gear up for the Sunday bakbakan. Episodes are uploaded right after the show on the GMA Network and ATM YouTube channels, giving fans even more access to the action.

Stars On The Floor Season 2 airs every Sunday night starting Feb. 15 at 7:15 PM, after Bubble Gang.
