PLDT rediscovered its winning form and drubbed ZUS Coffee, 25-23, 25-23, 25-13, to seize the solo lead in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Centre in San Juan City on Saturday night, Feb. 28.

The victory also erased the sting of their straight-set loss to Cignal last week that halted its three-game winning run.
As expected, Savi Davison shone for PLDT by pumping in 17 points built on 13 kills, three blocks and one ace, while Kianna Dy also stepped up and unleashed 16 points including 15 attacks.
The High Speed Hitters overpowered the Thunderbelles in all departments particularly in attacks, where they hammered down 47 hits including a combined 28 kills from Davison and Dy.
ZUS Coffee stumbled to its third consecutive loss to slip 1-5 in the standings. Jovelyn Gonzaga was the lone bright spot, finishing with 10 points as the team’s only double-digit scorer.
