Family of 3 massacred in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A couple and their 19-year-old daughter were gunned down inside their residence here on Friday night, Feb. 27.
Police identified the victims as Rodel Tarroza Espinosa; his wife Jenny, 43; and their daughter, Jenrose, student.
Investigation said the victims were inside their house when a still unidentified assailant entered and shot them.
Responding police officers found the couple, Rodel and Jenny, lying on the floor, while Jenrose was discovered nearby.
Recovered were seven empty shells of a 5.56 caliber firearm and a deformed slug.
Police consider the attack as premeditated and targeted.
