A drug suspect was apprehended by members of the Pasay City Police inside a public cemetery on Thursday, Feb. 26, a day after a court issued a warrant of arrest against him.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto said the suspect, identified as Pedro, 57, was arrested for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, on Sgt. Mariano Street, Barangay 148, Pasay City.
De Sesto said members of the Station Intelligence Section served the warrant issued by Judge Marjru Almojera Mandrid-Songgadan of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court, Branch 117.
No bail recommended for the suspect who was turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section for documentation and detention.
