The Pasay Public Employment Service (PESO) has been recognized for its outstanding performance during the Best Performing PESO Recognition held by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Feb. 26.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said that the PSEO received four awards for its excellence in delivering employment and livelihood assistance to the community.
Rubiano said that the office was honored as Best PESO in Job Fair Placement, Best PESO Assisted Livelihood Project, Best in Career Development Support and Employment Coaching, and Best in Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Facilitation with the Private Sector.
She said that the recognitions underscore the city’s strong commitment to expanding job opportunities and strengthening workforce development programs for Pasayeños.
The mayor said that through effective job fairs, livelihood assistance initiatives, career coaching, and active partnerships with private sector employers under the SPES, PESO Pasay continues to provide meaningful opportunities to job seekers and students alike.
The achievement is a testament to the leadership and unwavering support of the mayor, whose administration prioritizes accessible, decent, and sustainable employment for every Pasayeño.
