According to Barangay San Vicente officials, the couple were buying food at a store along 4th Street at around 12:49 a.m. when two motorcycles, each carrying a back rider, suddenly stopped near the victims and immediately declared a holdup and pointed a gun at the couple.
The video also captured one of the suspects threatening the victims and warning them not to move or he would shoot them.
The suspects reportedly took the victims’ mobile phones, wallet, and motorcycle, with a total estimated value of around P200,000.
“Sa takot ng magkasintahan ay napilitan na lamang silang ibigay ang kanilang wallet na may lamang pera at kanilang cellphone na parehas iPhone. Tinangay rin ng mga kawatan ang kanilang motorsiklo na Honda Click 125 na ayon sa biktima ay hiniram lang niya sa kangyang tiyuhin (Out of fear, the couple were forced to hand over their wallet containing cash and their mobile phones, both iPhones. The suspects also took their motorcycle, a Honda Click 125, which the victim said he had only borrowed from his uncle),” the barangay stated.
The suspects immediately fled toward M. Diaz Street and turned left onto Keep Moving Avenue.
The Angono Municipal Police Station continues its follow-up operations.
Meanwhile, Barangay San Vicente reminded residents to be cautious, especially at night, to stay alert at all times, and to immediately report any violent incidents to authorities.
