Iloilo becomes home to one of the region's greenest office towers
Robinsons Offices, the commercial development arm of Robinsons Land Corp., has secured LEED v4 Silver Certification for its Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3, marking an expansion of the company’s portfolio of environmentally certified workspaces in the Western Visayas region.
The 12-story tower, located within a 10-hectare estate in Pavia, Iloilo, received the international green building distinction as part of the broader strategy to capture demand for high-quality office space in growth hubs outside of Metro Manila. The certification follows the implementation of energy-saving systems, LED lighting, and an on-site sewage treatment plant designed to lower the development's operational footprint.

Jericho P. Go, Robinsons Offices senior vice president and business unit general manager, said in a statement that the company views Iloilo and the wider Western Visayas region as central component of the Philippines’ long-term economic narrative.
By providing premium infrastructure in regional centers, the developer aims to support businesses looking to decentralize operations while allowing professionals to remain in their home provinces.
Construction of the facility utilized recycled-content materials to support circular-economy practices, while more than 25 percent of the site underwent habitat restoration to meet ecological balance requirements mandated by the LEED framework.
The building is also prepared for future electric vehicle charging installations, a move intended to accommodate tenants transitioning to greener mobility options.
Cybergate Iloilo Tower 3 joins two existing towers at the site, catering primarily to business process outsourcing firms and information technology companies. The development is positioned as the closest BPO-grade office project to Iloilo International Airport and is integrated with the Pavia Transport Terminal, providing transit links to Iloilo City and adjacent municipalities.
To address occupant wellness, the project includes landscaped outdoor areas overlooking the Iloilo countryside, bike racks, and shared common spaces. Robinsons Offices noted that these amenities are designed to reduce workplace fatigue and improve retention for its corporate tenants.
The parent company, Robinsons Land, continues to pivot toward "future-ready" workplaces as multinational tenants increasingly prioritize Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards when selecting sites. The completion of Tower 3 reflects a commitment to uplifting regional communities through sustainable real estate investment, according to the company.
