The suspect, identified as "Aileen," also known as “Madam Araba,” was arrested at the Las Piñas City Hall of Justice in Barangay Pamplona Tres after attending a court hearing. Operatives from the Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section served the warrant of arrest against her.
The warrant was issued by Judge Pia Cristina Bersamin Embuscado of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court, Branch 198, with no bail recommended.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo lauded the Las Piñas City Police for the arrest and highlighted the gravity of the charges.
“The arrest of Madam Araba for 10 counts of serious illegal detention underscores our unwavering commitment to hunting down most wanted persons, regardless of their status or the length of time they have evaded the law. Serious illegal detention is a grave offense,” Arceo said.
