7 carjackers nabbed in Calabarzon

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police on Thursday reported the arrest of seven suspected carjackers operating in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (Calabarzon) region.

Seized from the suspects who were positively identified by their victims were carjacked vehicles, guns, grenade, and illegal drugs.

Suspects face illegal drugs, illegal possession of firearms and explosives, and robbery with carnapping cases.

Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, PRO 4-A chief, commended operating units for their achievement.

“PRO 4-A remains steadfast in its mission to bring offenders to justice. We will continue to intensify our law enforcement efforts to ensure the safety and security of the communities we serve,” Lucas said.

Lucas encouraged the public to remain vigilant and continue supporting police initiatives by reporting any information on criminal activities and wanted persons to the nearest police station.
