Man hacks buddy to death in Rizal

A 30-year-old man was killed by his machete-wielding friend along Rambo Road in Sitio Bugarin, Barangay Halayhayin, Pililla, Rizal, on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Based on the report by the Pililla Municipal Police Station, the victim and the suspect, identified as "Kulot," were initially engaged in a drinking session before a heated argument between the two transpired.

Kulot subsequently attacked the victim with a machete he was carrying, killing him on the spot.

The suspect quickly fled the scene toward the mountainous portion of the barangay.

A hot pursuit operation was immediately launched for Kulot's arrest.
