'Salvage' victim found in Abra

The body of a suspected ‘’salvage’’ or summary execution victim was found in Sitio Lidlidaak, Barangay Macray, Bangued, Abra on Monday, Feb. 23.
Police Major Graeme Boy Javier, chief of police of Bangued, identified the victim as Arjay, 27, of Barangay San Pedro, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.
The victim’s hands were tied behind his back, his feet was bound, and his mouth was gagged.
Police said the victim was brought to the area and shot there as several empty shells and three live rounds of a .45 caliber pistol and 12-gauge shotgun were recovered.
The victim was allegedly the subject of a complaint for trespassing. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
