Rider hurt after crashing into barrier in Manila

A 33-year-old motorcycle rider was injured after crashing his vehicle into a concrete barrier along P. Burgos Street near Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila early Tuesday morning, Feb. 24.

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said the victim allegedly lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to crash into the barrier.

He sustained a deep cut on his forehead measuring three to four inches and was given immediate first aid by responding medics.

He was rushed to the hospital to receive further treatment.

Authorities said the incident did not cause traffic in the area.
