The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)–Pasay City has taken a significant step toward modernization and enhanced public service delivery with the official launch of its Fire Safety Inspection System (FSIS) Hub.
The initiative reinforces the BFP’s commitment to providing efficient, transparent, and technology-driven fire safety services to the business community and the general public.
The Fire Safety Inspection System (FSIS), which was rolled out nationwide in June 2023, forms part of the BFP’s strategic efforts to streamline the issuance of Fire Safety Certificates to business establishments.
In compliance with FSIS implementation guidelines, the Pasay BFP established a dedicated One-Stop Shop designed to simplify procedures and deliver a more convenient and client-friendly experience.
The newly inaugurated hub houses the Customer Relations Office, Plan Evaluation Unit Office, and an FSIS Kiosk within an approximately 46-square-meter, fully air-conditioned facility.
Outfitted with modern Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems, the hub enables clients to apply for, monitor, and secure fire safety requirements through a unified, real-time digital platform.
Through the FSIS Hub, business owners can create and access online accounts, apply for fire safety clearances, and digitally obtain essential documents such as Fire Safety Inspection Certificates (FSICs), Fire Safety Evaluation Clearances (FSECs), and other fire-related permits.
The system also provides real-time monitoring of Fire Code Fee collections, inspection status, and certificate issuance — strengthening transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
The successful implementation of the project was made possible through the proactive efforts of the Pasay BFP, with the full support of the city government under the leadership of Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano.
