Lixil makes waves in design, earns Singapore's 'ReMarkable' Award distinction

The global water and housing solutions leader secures the inaugural honor, reinforcing years of sustained design excellence

Lixil, a global provider of innovative water and housing solutions through brands such as Inax, Grohe, American Standard, and Tostem, received the inaugural Singapore Good Design ReMarkable Award from the Design Business Chamber Singapore (DBCS) during its 40th anniversary gala.
The award, presented in the presence of Tharman Shanmugaratnam, president of Singapore, and Hong Khai Seng, president of DBCS, recognizes 21 companies with five to nine years of Singapore Good Design (SG Mark) wins for sustained design leadership. As a newly introduced distinction by the Singapore-based design authority, it underscores how strong design practices drive business growth and set industry benchmarks.

For Lixil, the recognition reinforces a long-standing investment in design across its portfolio. Antoine Besseyre Des Horts, leader of Lixil Global Design, Asia, said the award affirms the company’s continued focus on creating relevant and differentiated products. “We are honored to receive this recognition reflecting seven consecutive years of awards across our three power brands—American Standard, Grohe, and Inax—and multiple product categories. American Standard’s Wizflo handshower, a 2025 Singapore Good Design Award winner set to launch soon in the Philippines, addresses low water pressure through Pressureplus technology for a stronger, steadier flow. The ReMarkable Award adds to more than 700 global design honors received by Lixil, including distinctions from the Red Dot Award, iF Design Award, Green Good Design Award, Perspective Awards, Iconic Awards for Innovative Interior and Innovative Architecture, Good Design Award, IDEA, Core77, and Design Plus.
