1 dead as drinking spree leads to stabbing in Angono, Rizal

A 26-year-old construction worker was fatally stabbed by his co-worker during their drinking session in Barangay San Isidro, Angono, Rizal, on Sunday night, Feb. 22.

According to the Angono Municipal Police Station, the victim and the suspect were engaged in a drinking session at their barracks when a heated argument between the two transpired.

The suspect suddenly grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in different parts of his body before escaping on foot. 

The victim was quickly brought to Rizal Provincial Hospital System Angono Annex but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

A manhunt operation was subsequently launched by the police against the suspect, who remains at large and is now wanted for homicide.
