AUTHORITIES recover the remains of another MV Trisha Kerstin 3 crew on Sunday.
ZAMBOANGA CITY – The body of another missing crew member was recovered from the submerged MV Trisha Kerstin 3 in Basilan on Sunday, Feb. 22.
The cadaver of Rodolfo Cabilan Jr. was found in the car deck bow.
The victim’s father, Rodolfo Sr., identified his son who was still wearing a sling bag with his identification card and cellphone when he was recovered nearly a month after the ship sank.
Rodolfo Sr. said his son was an oiler of MV Trisha Kerstin 3. Rodolfo Sr. is working for a cargo vessel of Aleson Shipping Lines, the owner of MV Trisha Kerstin 3.
Rodolfo Sr. thanked the Philippine Coast Guard and all concerned agencies for the recovery of his son’s body.
The PCG said there were 293 survivors, 65 deaths, and 14 missing from the ill-fated ship as of Sunday.
