25 injured in bus-car collision in Quezon

GUMACA, Quezon – Twenty-five individuals were injured after their passenger bus rammed a car and turned on its side Barangay Manlayaan here on Friday night, Feb. 20.
Investigation said the driver, Eusebio, 48, lost control of the bus due to mechanical trouble and hit the car driven by Darren, 31.
The bus with 36 persons – 34 passengers and the driver and the conductor – swerved and turned on its side. Twenty-four passengers and the driver were injured.
The injured were taken to hospitals.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing and the bus driver faces appropriate charges.
