Mayor Nancy vows full support to Makati's police force, turns over vehicles and equipment for anti-crime ops
Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay assured her administration's continuous support to the Makati City Police following the signing of a usufruct agreement and turnover of several vehicles and equipment to be used by the police force in their anti-criminality operations.
The event was held at the Makati Police Headquarters in Barangay San Antonio and was attended by Makati City Police chief Col. Pedro Alagano Jr. and several key officials of the police force.
Under the agreement, the city government turned over 10 units of Suzuki Carry patrol vehicles and 10 units of Honda ADV 160 motorcycles to strengthen police mobility and response operations.
Additional donated equipment—including a portable air conditioner, speaker system, aerial drone, and 85” 4K UHD Smart TV—was also blessed during the ceremony.
"The Makati City Police Station extends its sincere gratitude and recognition to the Local Government of Makati for their unwavering support and generosity. With these additional resources, the dedicated Makati Police Force will be better equipped to fulfill their mandates, protect our communities, and uphold the rule of law. We remain committed to the responsible management and impactful utilization of these resources to achieve our goals," Alagano said.
"This act signifies our collective dedication to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Makati PNP, ultimately ensuring a safer, more secure community for all," he added.
