MB's Tan brothers among winners at 3rd JBL Cup

  • Building on the success of previous years, the 3rd JBL Golf Cup returned on Feb. 13, bringing together valued partners from media, distributors, and dealers for a distinguished day of competition, connection, and premium experiences at The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Building on the success of previous years, the 3rd JBL Golf Cup returned on Feb. 13, bringing together valued partners from media, distributors, and dealers for a distinguished day of competition, connection, and premium experiences at The Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
This year’s tournament featured an impressive roster of players, composed of both seasoned golfers and enthusiastic amateurs. Set against the lush greens and challenging fairways of The Orchard, participants engaged in a spirited yet friendly competition that kept energy levels high throughout the day.
Among the winners were Manila Bulletin's Jordan Tan (champion, Class C Media), Gerrald Tan (champion, Class B Media), and Rocky Nazareno (1st runner-up, Class B Media).
Gen. Hermogenes Esperon Jr. (Ret.), Philtrust Bank's chairman of the board, bagged the 1st runner-up trophy in Class A Media.
True to JBL’s DNA, sound was seamlessly integrated throughout the course. Each attendee received a JBL Grip, with some choosing to bring it along on their golf carts to enjoy powerful, portable audio throughout the tournament. Additional JBL portable speakers were placed in key areas across the course, further energizing the fairways and blending sport and sound in signature JBL fashion.
Guests enjoyed curated hospitality, engaging brand activities, and exclusive giveaways throughout the tournament. The day concluded with an evening awarding ceremony that celebrated top performers while reinforcing the camaraderie that defines the JBL Golf Cup.
