SM brings nationwide February hiring caravan closer to jobseekers

SM Supermalls rolls out a nationwide February hiring caravan that turns its malls into recruitment hubs and documentation centers to provide Filipinos direct access to jobs and government services.
The February leg of the #SMJobFair series spans major cities nationwide, linking jobseekers with employers in retail, services, logistics, manufacturing, and other key industries.
On-site government services are also available to help applicants complete requirements in one location.
The initiative began on Feb. 3 at SM City Cabanatuan, coinciding with the city’s 76th Banatu Festival and founding anniversary.
The event drew 32 employers and about 1,000 applicants, with 90 hired on the spot.
By holding job fairs during high-traffic community events, SM malls serve as platforms for employment and career growth.

This approach positions the malls beyond shopping and leisure, offering direct pathways to livelihood opportunities.
The flagship SM Group Job Fair is scheduled on Feb. 26 at SM City North EDSA, led by SM Retail, and will feature employers from the SM Group’s retail, real estate, food, logistics, and banking sectors.
SM Job Fairs also host essential government agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine National Police, Social Security System, and PhilHealth, allowing applicants to secure clearances and complete documentation in one venue.

Other job fair stops this month include SM City Taytay on Feb. 12, SM City Trece Martires on Feb. 13 and Feb. 27, SM City Olongapo Central on Feb. 16, SM City Legazpi on Feb. 20, SM City Davao on Feb. 25, SM Center Muntinlupa on Feb. 27, and SM Seaside City Cebu on Feb. 28.
Applicants are advised to bring multiple copies of their resumes and valid IDs.
