CAP ushers in the Lunar New Year with a fun-filled celebration
The Chinoy Actors of the Philippines (CAP) successfully held its Chinese New Year Celebration on Feb. 12, 2026, at REHub Real Estate Hub in Quezon City. The invitation-only event brought together members, partners, and friends in the entertainment industry for an evening of camaraderie.
Founded in 2024, CAP continues to grow as a community of Filipino-Chinese actors committed to excellence in the performing arts while preserving and promoting Chinoy heritage and tradition.
CAP was honored by the presence of Congressman Manuel “ManMan” Ko of Abang Lingkod Partylist, who graciously attended the celebration. Also present was the President of Chinatown TV, Ms. Lolita Ching, along with several distinguished guests and supporters from both media and government.
While the Chinese New Year is a time of reunion, renewal, and hopeful beginnings, CAP emphasized a message that goes beyond festivity. As a Christian-led organization, CAP reminded guests that true renewal is found in God. He gives us more than a fresh start for the year. He offers us a brand-new life. Through Jesus, we are invited into a restored relationship with God and into His family.
The blessings He gives are not only material, but also peace in our hearts, purpose in our lives, and hope that lasts.
As a closing message, CAP President Diane Pascual shared: “We have long been recognized as successful entrepreneurs, but beyond that, it is my heart’s desire to show the world that Chinoys can also shine in the performing arts—whether in singing, dancing, or acting. As CAP moves forward into the new year, we remain committed to championing Chinoy talent, strengthening our cultural identity, and inspiring the next generation of Filipino-Chinese artists. If you are a Chinoy and believe you have what it takes to become a CAP member, we warmly invite you to contact us at 0917 535 5647 or email us at [email protected].
