Drag artist Sofia Trazona, daughter of former SexBomb Girl Izzy Trazona, proudly stood up as a transgender person and showed others they can be themselves too.

"Trans and proud," wrote Sofia on Instagram days after reports that her stepfather, former actor Alvin Aragon, made a remark about homosexuality in a recent audio interview.

Sofia, previously named Andei, is the first child of Izzy and former partner, Michael Navarro. Izzy is now married to Alvin, a born-again Christian.

Despite being separated from her biological father, Sofia said he is supportive of her transwoman journey. In a separate post, Sofia said she's excited about a big operation so she can fulfill her promise to be a woman.

"I'll go through a big operation in a month… the girls will be girling, and I can’t wait to fulfill my promises to myself as a woman," Sofia wrote.

However, it seems that her stepfather, Alvin, had different thoughts about homosexuality. In a radio interview, Alvin believed that God judged homosexuality.

“Izzy got a lot of bashing. Even when her son chose to be gay, there were a lot of bashings because they said he wasn't accepted because he was gay,” Alvin said during a radio interview. “Well, that's true, right? What does the Bible say? God judged homosexuality."

Alvin added, “God will throw you to hell if you continue to practice homosexuality,” he said. "Mamuhay ka, and you don't want to believe in Jesus? I assure you that God will throw you to hell if you don't stop, if you don’t repent, and believe in the gospel."

In another post, Izzy said she and her daughter, Sofia, keep in touch all the time. Izzy even shared her recent conversation with Sofia. She added that she doesn't want to make their conversation public. But Izzy wants to prove to netizens that she is in a good relationship with Sofia.

On Instagram, Ozzy wrote: "Ayoko na sana i-public ito, pero ang dami nanaman lumalabas at nagcocomment even if they don’t know the truth behind…palaging ganern. Dapat po wag ganon hehe. Pero pipilitin ko pa din intindihin ang mga people. Here is the last convo of my son and I. (I don't want to make this public, but many people are coming out and commenting even if they don't know the truth behind it...it's always like this. It shouldn't be like that, hehe. But I'll still try to make people understand. Here is the last convo of my son and I.)"

Izzy and Alvin trended on social media after their appearance at the SexBomb reunion concert at the Mall of Asia Arena.

While Izzy did not perform during the concert, she made a special onstage appearance, hugging the girls and speaking to the audience about Jesus's love.
