De Venecia interment set at Libingan

DAGUPAN CITY – Former House Speaker Jose C. de Venecia Jr. will be interred on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City.
De Venecia passed away on Feb. 10 at the age of 89.
His wife, Pangasinan Rep. Gina de Venecia, said in a Facebook post that a funeral Mass will be held at 8 a.m. at Chapels 3, 4, and 5 of the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
De Venecia’s remains will proceed to the Libingan ng mga Bayani for interment with honors at 10:45 a.m.
He served multiple terms as Speaker of the House and known for his influential role in Philippine legislation and governance.
