Barista facing rape, lascivious conduct charges arrested in Taguig
Police arrested a barista who is facing charges for rape and lascivious conduct in Taguig on Feb. 16.
The Southern Police District's District Special Operations Unit arrested the accused, identified as alias Michael, 50, in a coffee shop on Maya Street in Barangay Rizal, Taguig. The police tagged the accused, a resident of Barangay Rizal, as a high-profile fugitive.
The police served the warrants of arrest against Michael for rape under the Revised Penal Code with no bail recommended, and lascivious conduct under Section 5B of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act) with P200,000 recommended bail.
The warrants of arrest were issued on Feb Presiding Judge Desiree Gertrude Orquiola-Moldez of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 163.
After the arrest, the accused was brought to the SPD for documentation.
