The reward for information leading to the arrest of the killers of former beauty queen Lullete Jane Ramilo D. dela Cruz in Barangay Cabaritan, San Manuel, Isabela on Feb. 13 has increased to P150,000.
Isabela Board Member Manuel Faustino “King” Dy has pledged an additional P50,000.
San Manuel Mayor Faustino “Dondon” U. Dy IV and Isabela Rep. Faustino Michael Carlos T. Dy III earlier offered P50,000 each.
Rep. Dy and Board Member Dy condoled with Dela Cruz’s family and assured them of their support in their call for justice. They condemned the gruesome killing and stressed the importance of holding those responsible accountable, not only to deliver justice to the family but also to maintain peace and security in the community.
Local government officials and the police continue to coordinate efforts to expedite the investigation and track the suspects.
Police Major Rogelio Natividad, chief of police of San Manuel, said the task force created to investigate the killing will examine multiple angles to identify the suspects and the possible mastermind.
Natividad assured the people that they will not stop until the suspects are brought to justice. He appealed the public to cooperate with authorities to help speed up the investigation.
