Mindoro's wanted man for murder nabbed in Pasay

Authorities arrested a 56-year-old man wanted for murder in Oriental Mindoro during the conduct of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) in Pasay City on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Col. Joselito De Sesto, chief of the Pasay City Police, identified the suspect as “Jerry,” a resident of Tramo Street, Barangay 46, Pasay City.

Pasay City Police Substation 1 operatives apprehended the suspect around 3:30 a.m. along P. Bucaneg Street in Barangay 76, Pasay City.

De Sesto said the arrest was carried by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Tomas Leynes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40, Calapan City, with no bail recommended.

After his arrest, the suspect was brought to Pasay City General Hospital for a physical examination before being turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section for proper documentation and the return of the warrant.

He will be brought to the court for further proceedings.
