Globe partners with AC Logistics to speed up product deliveries

Telecommunications provider Globe Telecom Inc. has partnered with AC Logistics, the logistics arm of Ayala Corp., to strengthen its supply chain and accelerate the delivery of its products to customers.
The two Ayala-led companies formalized the partnership during the launch of Globe’s warehousing and distribution operations at AC Logistics’ MCX Warehouse on Monday, Feb. 16.
Located along the Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway, or MCX, the facility serves as a strategic hub for Globe to accommodate efficient delivery to clients, particularly in Metro Manila and Calabarzon.
Under the arrangement, AC Logistics will act as Globe’s warehousing partner, handling inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound distribution of Globe’s products.
The products to be managed in the warehouse include SIM cards, devices, and retail collaterals, which will be distributed to Globe’s channels and partners.
The MCX Warehouse is designed for high-volume and high-accuracy operations, ensuring faster order fulfillment for distributors and channels, as well as improved product availability for customers.
“This partnership strengthens a critical part of our operation, ensuring that Globe products reach our customers and partners with consistency and speed,” said Globe Chief Financial Officer Carlo Puno.
“With AC Logistics, we gain a trusted partner who supports our mission to deliver reliable service where it matters most,” he added.
For his part, AC Logistics President and Chief Executive Officer Erry Hardianto said the partnership aims to support Globe in its mission of fostering a digitally empowered nation.
“Our role is to ensure their supply chain moves with precision, reliability, and the agility required by a nationwide operation,” he said.
By leveraging its logistics capabilities, AC Logistics said Globe can further improve its supply chain without losing sight of its vision of delivering meaningful connectivity and superior customer experiences.
“The partnership reflects the Ayala Group’s commitment to ecosystem synergy and operational excellence,” the company said.
