Cebu Pacific rolls out ₱88 Chinese New Year seat sale for domestic, international flights

Gokongwei-led low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific is celebrating Chinese New Year in style with the launch of a five-day seat sale, offering travelers one-way base fares as low as ₱88.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said passengers can book flights to select domestic and international destinations beginning Monday, Feb. 16, until Friday, Feb. 20.

During the seat sale, flights will be as low as ₱88, exclusive of fees and surcharges, for a travel period from April 1 to Oct. 31, while seats last.

Domestic destinations on sale include the world-famous Boracay, known for its powdery white sand beaches and water activities, and Bohol, where visitors can see the iconic Chocolate Hills and explore centuries-old heritage sites.

For travelers heading abroad, the promo features flights to Bangkok, known for its street food and bustling markets, and Hong Kong, famous for its theme parks, shopping districts, and scenic harbor views.

These international flights are available across Cebu Pacific’s five hubs—Manila, Clark, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao—providing seamless departure points for passengers across the archipelago.

Cebu Pacific said passengers may use various payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets, to book their flights and purchase add-ons.

The airline currently operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and Middle East.

Last month, Cebu Pacific accommodated 2.73 million travelers, up 6.2 percent from the 2.57 million recorded in January last year. - Dexter Barro II
