94 couples tie the knot in Muntinlupa's 'Kasalang Bayan'

Ninety-four couples were married in the Muntinlupa City government's "Kasalang Bayan" held on Feb. 13 at the Muntinlupa City Sports Center. 

Mayor Ruffy Biazon officiated the mass wedding organized by the city government's Community Affairs and Development Office. The Muntinlupa Local Civil Registry helped in the marriage registration. 

The Kasalang Bayan, held to celebrate Valentine’s Day, gave the chance to the couples to get married for free. 

Joining the event were Muntinlupa Rep. Jaime Fresnedi, Vice Mayor Stephanie Teves-Wong, and councilors. 

The youngest couple who got married were Elien Paguidopon Ricafort, 19, at Princess Rosian Mitra Marculeta, 18, from Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa. 

The oldest couple were Ernesto Tacac Manuel, 67, and Eufronia Lacasa Solayao, 51, from Barangay Poblacion.

Named the most romantic couple were Wellmar Legaspi and Ma. Francesca Caaway from Barangay Bayanan.
