SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela – Police formed a Special Investigation Task Force to investigate the killing of former Miss Earth 2013 first runner-up Lullete Jane Ramilo-de Guzman.
De Guzman was gunned down on Friday night, Feb. 13, in front of her home in Barangay Cabaritan, San Manuel, Isabela.
Police Col. Manuel Bringas, Isabela police chief, said the task force was organized to ensure the swift resolution of the case.
Bringas assured the public that they would take all necessary steps to identify and apprehend the two suspects.
He directed concerned units to intensify the investigation, conduct intelligence build-up, and carry out manhunt operations.
Meanwhile, the local government of San Manuel is offering a P50,000 reward for individuals who can provide information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
Mayor Faustino "Dondon" U. Dy IV hopes that the money would speed up the resolution of the case and called on the public to help bring those responsible to justice.
