Model-singer Adela Mae Marshall to represent Muntinlupa City in Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Model and singer Adela Mae Marshall has been chosen as the official delegate of Muntinlupa City for the 2026 Miss Universe Philippines beauty pageant, to be held later this year.
Adela, 28, expressed gratitude to the people of Muntinlupa and the press for their support in her first pageant journey.

"Receiving the crown and sash makes everything feel truly official, and I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from our friends in Muntinlupa and the press. I am genuinely touched by this experience," said Adela during an interview.
Born and raised in Bournemouth, United Kingdom, Adela moved to the Philippines in 2016. She studied business management at SouthVille International School and Colleges (SISC).
In 2017, Adela finished in the Top 12 of Philippines Next Top Model: High Street (Cycle 2). A year later, she joined Asia's Next Top Model (Cycle 6), where she finished as a runner-up.
Adela is also an actress and a singer. Her debut single was titled "I'm Just Like You" and released under Viva Records. Her other songs, "Small World" and "The City Doesn't Look Good on You," are now available to stream on Spotify.
"Music has always been a passion of mine, though I don’t pursue it as a career. It’s an outlet I truly appreciate, and I often turn to songwriting rather than singing to express my feelings," she said.
Adela appeared in the 2018 movie "Squad Goals" from Viva Films. "It was a great experience."

The beauty queen also advocates for the Binhi Literacy Foundation, which empowers children through literacy programs.
"I am truly grateful and thrilled to be entrusted with this incredible responsibility. My journey and the vibrant spirit of Muntinlupa are beautifully intertwined, and I am deeply inspired by this connection.
"Being considered as a candidate for Miss Universe Philippines is not only an honor, but also a dream come true. I look forward to shining a light on our shared story and making my city proud," Adela added.
