TWS sets Valentine's Day mood with single 'Nice to see you again'
K-pop boy band TWS released a performance film to accompany their digital single “Nice to see you again (Korean Ver.)” in time for Valentine’s Day.
“Nice to see you again (Korean Ver.)” captures the youthful butterflies of starting a new relationship with “you” from an unexpected reunion, carrying subtle emotions and shimmering excitement.
Infused with refreshing, unstoppable energy, the song delivers a youthfulness that feels unmistakably TWS, with their lovable energy shining through every moment of the track.
The release marks the Korean version of their Japanese debut single, “Nice to see you again” (はじめまして/Hajimemashite), originally released in July 2025.
Upon its release, the original track achieved remarkable success, ranking at No.1 on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 and earning a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), shipping over 250,000 copies—an exceptional feat for a K-pop group’s Japanese debut, which fueled the song’s reimagination in Korean.
Stirring sweet anticipation for a romantic season, the performance film unveiled today features the sextet in a school uniform look, delivering a picturesque performance against a soft, garden-like backdrop surrounded by blooming flowers.
The choreography—marked by lyrical movements, from gentle waves of greeting to fireworks lighting up the night sky—unfolds like scenes from a coming-of-age film, adding warmth and joy to the song’s refreshing spirit.
Closing with the members greeting the audience, the film draws viewers into a nostalgic sensation that evokes the memories of their youth.
As they continue to broaden their musical range with each release, the boys ultimately affirm their roots, staying true to their ‘Boyhood Pop’ genre. With “Nice to see you again (Korean Ver.)” serving as a prelude of what’s to come in the new year, TWS are set to fill 2026 with evolving music and artistic growth, building on their signature youthful sensibility.
