The Philippine Red Cross (PRC)–Malabon Chapter conducted a Valentine’s Day health caravan that provided free medical services to about 1,500 residents in Barangay Hulong Duhat.

The event dubbed “Health is Life,” the caravan was held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in partnership with PhilHealth-Yakap, Life Saver, and the Malabon City government.

PRC Chairman Ricky Sandoval, together with Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, city officials, and Red Cross volunteers, led the activity.

Residents availed themselves of free doctor consultations, vision screening, laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood sugar testing, X-ray and ECG services, dental care, and free medicines.

The PRC Malabon Chapter said the caravan is part of its continuing efforts to bring essential healthcare services closer to communities and promote preventive health programs for residents.
