Daniel Dae Kim, Park Chan-wook, 'KPop Demon Hunters' among honorees at 2026 Unforgettable Awards
The honorees have been revealed for this year’s Unforgettable Awards, an annual event celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander excellence in film, television, and culture.
Now in its 23rd year, the Unforgettable Awards will be held on March 7 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Among the honorees are Daniel Dae Kim, star of Prime Video’s “Butterfly,” who will receive Actor in Television, Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” which will receive the Vanguard Award and Korean director Park Chan-wook of “No Other Choice.”
Produced by GoldenTV and Character Media, the event will stream as a special on GoldenTV on March 13.
This year’s theme is passion that reflects the drive that fuels Asian Pacific storytellers, innovators, and leaders across film, television, and culture.
The honorees are recognized for work that has elevated the community across the industry and continues to shape the cultural landscape.
The 2026 Unforgettable Awards honorees are:

Daniel Dae Kim (Butterfly) – Actor in Television

K-Pop Demon Hunters (Netflix) – Vanguard Award
Lawrence Shou (Rosemead) – Breakout in Film
Leenda Dong – Digital Influencer
Lloyd Lee Choi (Lucky Lu) – Writer
Park Chan-wook (No Other Choice) – Director
Te Ao o Hinepehinga (Chief of War) – Breakout in Television
