The synchronized kiss became the highlight of the celebration, drawing cheers from the crowd gathered at the historic public park.
The activity symbolized love, unity, and shared affection as Manila marked the Day of Hearts.
City officials joined residents and visitors in the festivities, underscoring the importance of expressing love not only to romantic partners but also through respect and empathy toward fellow citizens.
The event was organized by the Malate-Ermita Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (MEEDIPO) led by Felix Espiritu, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila headed by Cristal Bagatsing.
Organizers said the Valentine’s Day gathering aimed to foster community spirit and promote positive values among Manileños through meaningful public activities.
