Sports referee nabbed for acts of lasciviousness in Pasay
A sports referee who has been wanted in Muntinlupa since 2024 was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police for acts of lasciviousness.
Pasay City Police Chief, Col. Joselito De Sesto, identified the suspect as “Badong,” 57. He was arrested along Service Road, Roxas Boulevard, Barangay 6, Pasay City.

De Sesto said the suspect was apprehended by personnel of the Pasay City Police Substation 1 while serving an arrest warrant, in coordination with the Muntinlupa City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section.
The warrant was issued on July 4, 2024, by Judge Wehrly S. Gutierrez-Mendez of the Muntinlupa City Family Court Branch 8, with recommended bail set at P180,000.
The court ordered the arrest of the suspect for violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, particularly for acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 5(b) of RA 7610, as amended by RA 11648, and in relation to RA 8369.
Following his arrest, the suspect was taken to Pasay City General Hospital for medical examination before being turned over to the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) for proper disposition, pending the return of the warrant and his commitment to the issuing court.
