Parañaque gov't honors top taxpayers, outstanding entrepreneurs during Gawad Palanyag 2026

The city government of Parañaque paid tribute to its exemplary business partners and community leaders during Gawad Palanyag 2026, and gave recognition to individuals and institutions that continue to contribute significantly to the city’s growth and development.
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said Gawad Palanyag stands as a symbol of gratitude and recognition for the hard work, dedication, and civic responsibility demonstrated by the city’s stakeholders.
The mayor said the annual event highlights the city’s top taxpayers and outstanding entrepreneurs whose contributions help sustain public services and fuel economic progress.
The city government honored the Top 10 Corporations in the business category: Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc.; JNTL Consumer Health (Philippines) Inc.; Direct Power Services, Inc.; Toyota Makati Inc.; and Puregold Price Club, Inc.
The other awardees in the same category are Shakey’s Pizza Commerce Inc., Golden Arches Development Corporation, Mondelez Philippines, Inc., Metro Drug, Inc., and Handling Innovation Incorporated.
The Top 10 Single Proprietors are Stages Design & Construction; Madison Square Marketing; M.I.B. Food House; Basket and Weaves Handicrafts Manufacturing; Dan Eric’s Grand Ice Cream; Tailg Marketing; Marc Alain General Merchandise; HAMC Trading; Big C Supermart; and JBE Potenciano Enterprise.
The city government also acknowledged the Top 10 Real Property Taxpayers: Bay City Commercial Ventures Corp. (Ayala Malls); Belle Corporation (DM Wenceslao Lot); DM Wenceslao & Associates, Inc.; SM Prime Holdings, Inc./SM Development Corporation; Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment, Inc. (Okada); Manila Bayshore Property Holdings, Inc.; Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc./Sureste; Sparc Properties and Realty Corporation; Mondelez Philippines, Inc.; and Manila Bay Development Corporation.
Olivarez said Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc./Sureste and Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment, Inc. (Okada) were also conferred the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award.
He said the awardees exemplify excellence in business leadership while remaining active partners in local development initiatives.
The mayor added that through Gawad Palanyag 2026, the city government reaffirmed its commitment to fostering strong partnerships with the private sector, recognizing that economic growth and community progress go hand in hand in building a more progressive and resilient Parañaque.
