Written by Star Music artists Jeremy G and P-Pop group WRIVE’s Russu Laurente and Ishiro Incapas, "Kasalanan" talks about fearlessly and freely falling in love regardless of what other people think.
"It is also a love letter to my fans who have been there for me no matter what," shared Mika.
In the song's official music video, the Kapuso star teamed up with Kapamilya actor Anthony Jennings, delivering an action-packed, mafia-inspired love story that delighted many fans.
"Anthony is perfect for the role since he is used to doing action stunts. He guided me all throughout and I am very thankful for him for being part of the music video,” said Mika.
"Kasalanan" premiered on national television via "It's Showtime," featuring a fierce performance by Mika alongside Femme MNL.
Mika also performed the song live at the recently held Wonderful Moments Music Festival in SMDC Grounds alongside event headliners Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Gloc 9, BINI, and Cup of Joe.
The latest Star Music release follows Mika's highly anticipated debut single, “Sino Nga Ba Siya,” which made waves by topping the iTunes Philippines and UAE song charts. It also secured a spot in Singapore, Qatar, and Cambodia and broke into Spotify’s Viral Songs Chart top 10, with over five million streams.
After her successful debut, Mika collaborated with fellow “PBB” winner Brent Manalo on “What If Tayo?”, which topped the MYX Daily Top 10 and has over 1.1 million views on YouTube.
