K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR releases 'Hotter Than My EX' campaign film
Remember the Fire Noodle Challenge that has gone viral on social media, especially on TikTok, where people eat super spicy noodles?
A new campaign has been launched with K-pop boy band BOYNEXTDOOR leading the charge for Samyang Foods’ iconic Buldak brand.
As the face of Buldak’s new worldwide campaign, “Hotter Than My EX,” BOYNEXTDOOR members bring effortless confidence and raw energy to the project. The campaign centers on their relatable appeal, paired with a message of confidence.
As part of the collaboration, BOYNEXTDOOR released a special campaign version of their hit track “Earth, Wind & Fire,” reimagined as “Earth, Wind & Fire (Hotter Than My EX Ver.).”
Members of the group participated directly in rewriting the lyrics, adding their own perspective and personality to the campaign.
The accompanying campaign film, styled as a music video, was unveiled today, offering a visually dynamic extension of the collaboration.
The video is now being showcased on a billboard in New York’s Times Square, underscoring the global scale of the release and BOYNEXTDOOR’s growing international reach.
At the 2026 D-Awards, BOYNEXTDOOR won Best Group, Best Recording, Delights Blue Label and Black Label Song of the Year.
BOYNEXTDOOR debuted in 2023 under KOZ Entertainment, founded by singer-producer Zico, with members Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak.
