Ateneo BOx presents 'LoveBOx 2026: Earthbound Echoes' to support the Sierra Madre
The Ateneo Biological Organization (Ateneo BOx) is set to redefine the holiday of love by shifting the spotlight toward our shared home this upcoming Valentine’s season. The organization officially announces “LoveBOx 2026: Earthbound Echoes,” an immersive musical celebration and advocacy campaign dedicated to the protection of the Sierra Madre mountain range.
Scheduled for Feb. 20, 2026, at the Ateneo de Manila University Bellarmine Field, “Earthbound Echoes” serves as a clarion call for environmental stewardship, blending the power of live performance with concrete grassroots action. While LoveBOx has long been a staple of the Ateneo community’s social calendar, this year’s iteration takes on a heightened sense of urgency. The theme, “Earthbound Echoes,” reflects the interconnectedness between human life and the natural world. Every performance is curated to serve as a "pledge in song," with proceeds dedicated to the Save Sierra Madre Network Alliance, Inc. (SSMNAI).
SSMNAI is a vital non-governmental organization that unites Indigenous Peoples, civil society groups, and religious sectors to defend the Sierra Madre. By supporting this beneficiary, LoveBOx 2026 directly funds the conservation of the Philippines' longest mountain range, ensuring the survival of its biodiversity and the safety of the millions who rely on its watershed for climate resilience.
The campaign extends far beyond a single night of music. To foster deeper discourse on environmental justice, Ateneo BOx will host the LoveBOx Bazaar on Feb. 16, 18, and 19. This three-day activation serves as a community hub where attendees can engage with talks led by advocacy partners such as Animal Empathy Philippines, Rights of Nature Philippines, and Angat Kalikasan Philippines.
Ateneo BOx invites students, alumni, and the general public to stand in solidarity with the Sierra Madre. Tickets cost P400 for Atenean scholars, P430 for regular Atenean students, and P450 for alumni and non-Ateneans (inclusive of ticketing fees).
Co-presented by The Face Shop and 0107 Management Group, Inc.
